Dear readers,
I hope you celebrated Independence and Freedom and all the values that July in North America represent. I found myself sweating in a hot sun at the July 4th parade, a half-mile from my house, and tears welled as a pared-down high school marching band minus my beloved youngest son marched by. (To be fair, he never participated in the July 4th parade because he was always away, canoeing frigid Canadian rivers, where he is now.)
From childhood, we become conditioned to take a break in the summer, and anyway it’s good to stop every so often to recalibrate, to be idle, to just be.
So that’s what I’ll be doing for the rest of July, returning on the 29th with a special issue featuring a friend and talented writer. Until then, I’ll be pausing any paid subscriptions so you won’t lose out, and I’ll look forward to seeing you in a few weeks.
If you can find time to be idle, to let the creativity swirl and grow, grab it. Love to you all!
Lynne

Time to breathe! Yay!
Enjoy that well deserved break! ❤️
